- Authentic assessment¶
Assessment that mirrors real practice, with contextualized tasks, real world scenarios/data, etc.
- Curriculum 2021¶
A framework for the teaching and learning of the University of Liverpool.
- FHEA¶
Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. A title granted by Advance HE that indicates that someone meets the Descriptor 2 of the UKPSF.
- PGCAP¶
The Postgraduate Certificate Academic Practice is a Level 7 qualification at the University of Liverpool. Graduates of the program gain recognition as Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
- SMART action plan¶
A set of principles for creating goals and plans that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based.
- UKPSF¶
The UK Professional Standards Framework, “a globally-recognised framework for benchmarking success within HE teaching and learning support”.
- Software Carpentry¶
Non-profit organization “teaching basic lab skills for research computing”.
